The Australian Home Funeral Alliance regularly offer workshops to help achieve our aim for every person dying in Australia to have access to a home funeral.
Our workshops can be delivered face-to-face in selected locations. If you’re interested in bringing an AHFA workshop to your friendship group, community, or workplace, please contact us.

Creating Death Care Leaders
The Australian Home Funeral Alliance, in conjunction with the Death Literacy Institute and Walawaani Way, are please to present this program which seeks to build death literacy by engaging rural and regional communities in education that improves peoples wellbeing by empowering people to confidently navigate the death system.
Location - Walawaani Way, 79 Princes Highway, Bodalla NSW
Date - Saturday 25-Apr 2026 (9am-5pm) and Sunday 26-Apr 2026 (10am-4pm)
Places are limited for this workshop. If the number of registrations exceeds the available places, the remaining applicants will be placed on a waiting list. All applicants will be notified of the outcome.
